The Akro-Mils Indicator Bin™ 36468BLKRED is a 6-5/8" x 17-7/8" x 4" double hopper shelf bin, sold in a package quantity of 12. This two-toned Indicator™ bin serves as a single-bin Kanban system, featuring a colored trigger side that indicates low inventory, helping to prevent stock-outs and interruptions on the assembly line. It is designed for effective inventory control and is easy to use, available in four sizes. The double hopper design allows for convenient organization of supplies and work-in-progress (WIP), while reducing excess inventory. The bin is compatible with 18" shelving or pick rack systems and offers options for dividers to designate inventory reserves. Users can stock the bin using the divider and pick items from one side, flipping the bin to signal low stock and enabling a quick refill process, thereby eliminating the need for a traditional two-bin Kanban system.
