The Akro-Mils Indicator Bin® 36462BLKRED is a double hopper shelf bin measuring 6-3/4" x 11-5/8" x 4", with a package quantity of 12. This innovative bin features a two-toned design that serves as a single-bin Kanban system, where the colored trigger side helps indicate low inventory levels, effectively preventing stock-outs and interruptions in assembly lines. The easy-to-use bin is available in four sizes and includes dividers to assist in organizing supplies and work in progress (WIP), working seamlessly with 12" shelving or pick rack systems. Key features include a reduction of excess inventory and an efficient method to monitor stock levels; simply stock the bin using the divider to delineate inventory reserves, pick from the designated side until the divider is reached, flip to the orange side to signal low stock, and replenish as needed, eliminating the necessity for a traditional two-bin Kanban system.
