Eagle's 60 gallon, self-closing, paint and ink safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double-wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) threaded vents with fire baffles and caps, a high-gloss, lead-free, baked-on powder coat finish with red trilingual warning labels, and a grounding attachment. It features a 3-point stainless steel bullet latching system, a flush-mounted door handle with key lock, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, continuous piano hinges, and a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised, leakproof door sill. The patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves are supported by four brackets spaced on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, each shelf holding a 350 lbs (159 kg) uniform distributed load (UDL) and designed to direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump. Doors are self-closing with a 135° opening, equipped with a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf, and feature self-indexing to guarantee sequential and tight closure from top to bottom. The cabinet’s internal and external welded construction enhances durability. It is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Internal dimensions are 39.5"W x 14.562"D x 60.5"H.
