The Leviton humidity sensor and fan control automatically detects excess humidity in a room and activates the ventilation fan to reduce condensation, thereby minimizing mold and mildew growth. Utilizing a microprocessor alongside advanced digital sensing technology, it continuously monitors and manages humidity levels in areas susceptible to condensation and mildew. The device features user-friendly controls for adjusting sensitivity, humidity levels, and time-out settings, and it can replace a single pole switch to work with most bathroom or ventilation fans or fan/light combinations. It is designed to fit within a standard wallbox and requires a neutral wire for operation. This contemporary humidity sensor and fan control is particularly suited for high humidity areas, such as bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, and home spas, and it contributes to energy efficiency by operating the fan only when necessary. Ratings include 120VAC, 60Hz, with a single pole capacity of 600W incandescent, 150W LED/CFL, and 1/6 HP (3A) for fans, as well as 400VA inductive for ballast. Wallplate/faceplate is not included.
