The New Orleans® Spear Arm Awning is designed to add architectural elegance to any home or business and is popular with upscale homes and restaurants. Its crescent shape appears naturally hanging but features a full frame underneath, engineered and tested to withstand serious wind and snow loads, including extreme wind tunnel up/down draft, obstacle, and weight positioning tests. Unlike many modular fixed awnings lacking full load-bearing frames, this awning will not collapse or rip away in gusty wind conditions. Installation involves mounting a few wall brackets, setting the awning into the brackets, and tightening. The frame is constructed from structural aluminum with stainless steel hardware. The canopy uses Beauty-Mark® acrylic fabrics made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic anti-microbial yarns, treated with UV and water-resistant coatings, and available in various designer solids and stripes, with options for trim color and valance style. Suitable for both commercial and residential applications, it offers rust, fade, and mildew resistance and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
