The New Orleans® spear arm awning adds architectural elegance to any home or business and is popular with upscale homes and restaurants. It features a crescent shape with a full, structural aluminum frame and stainless steel hardware engineered and tested to withstand extreme wind tunnel up/down drafts, obstacle impacts, and heavy snow loads. Unlike many modular fixed awnings lacking full load-bearing frames, the New Orleans® is designed to resist collapse and detachment in gusty wind conditions. Installation involves mounting a few wall brackets, setting the awning into place, and tightening. The canopy is made from Beauty-Mark® acrylic fabrics woven from 100% solution-dyed acrylic anti-microbial yarns, treated with UV and water resistant coatings, and is available in many designer solids and stripes with options for trim color and valance style. This awning is suitable for both commercial and residential applications and comes with a five-year limited warranty.
