The New Yorker® a Regid Valance Awning is a Beauty-Mark® brand by Awntech®, renowned as the most popular fixed awning for both residential and commercial use. Engineered with a full load-bearing frame, it has been rigorously tested to endure heavy wind and snow loads, unlike many modular fixed awnings that may fail in adverse weather conditions. The New Yorker® has undergone testing for extreme wind tunnel conditions, including up/down draft and weight positioning. Installation requires only a few wall brackets, with the awning simply setting into the brackets for tightening. The awning frame is constructed from structural aluminum complemented by stainless steel hardware, while the canopy is made from Beauty-Mark® acrylic fabrics, which consist of 100% solution dyed acrylic anti-microbial yarns and are treated with UV and water-resistant coatings. Available in a variety of designer solids and stripes, additional options include different trim colors and valance styles.
