Worldwide Electric vertical hollow shaft motors are equipped with a drive coupling that mounts at the top of the motor as standard. The critical dimension of the coupling is the BX dimension, also referred to as the bore size. These couplings are available in various bore sizes that are required to match the diameter of the pump's shaft. To accommodate a broad spectrum of pump shaft dimensions, Worldwide Electric provides alternate couplings for each frame family, ensuring that all vertical hollow shaft specifications are met effectively.
