Worldwide Electric vertical hollow shaft motors come with a drive coupling that mounts at the top of the motor as standard. The coupling's most important dimension is the BX dimension, also known as the bore size of the coupling. Couplings are available in various bore sizes that must match the diameter of the pump's shaft. Worldwide Electric provides alternate couplings for each frame family with different bore sizes to accommodate a wide range of pump shaft dimensions, ensuring that all vertical hollow shaft requirements are met.
