Worldwide Electric vertical hollow shaft motors are designed to include a drive coupling that mounts at the top of the motor as standard. The coupling features a critical dimension known as the BX dimension, which refers to the bore size of the coupling. These couplings are available in a variety of bore sizes that must be compatible with the diameter of the pump's shaft. To accommodate a broad range of pump shaft dimensions, Worldwide Electric provides alternate couplings for each frame family, ensuring that all vertical hollow shaft requirements are met efficiently.
