Worldwide Electric vertical hollow shaft motors are equipped with a drive coupling that mounts at the top of the motor as standard. The critical dimension of the coupling is the BX dimension, commonly referred to as the bore size of the coupling. These couplings are available in various bore sizes, which must correspond with the diameter of the pump's shaft. Worldwide Electric provides alternate couplings for each frame family, featuring a selection of bore sizes to accommodate a broad spectrum of pump shaft dimensions, ensuring that all vertical hollow shaft requirements are satisfied.
