These infrared heaters help thaw frozen metal pipes, melt snow and ice on machinery and vehicles stored outside. Electric heaters provide efficient heat to employees working outdoors and on unsealed loading docks. Double side wall housings reduce operating temperatures, while flat panel emitters generate large amounts of infrared heat in a fairly concentrated area. The elements are designed for rugged environments without the use of glass materials and have a life expectancy of 25,000 hours. Key features include heavy-duty protective wire screens, a gold anodized aluminum internal reflector, and a 15' grounded power cord. This pedestal heater operates at 120V and 1.45kW in a single-phase configuration. The heating elements include a single flat panel emitter, and the heater operates at 78.5% radiant efficiency. Additionally, it features an aluminized steel base, a large carry handle, a 60° symmetrical heat pattern, gold anodized aluminum housing, and double side wall housing on FSP-14 models. An electrical enclosure is included for direct wire installation, and single-phase wiring configurations are supported. Wire guards are provided on all models. The product is UL listed and comes with a limited warranty of 1 year.
