The PLS-3 stand is Meiji Techno America's most popular narrow LED stand, featuring built-in transmitted 5W LED illumination that can be operated independently or simultaneously. This stand provides no direct heat, preventing external stress on specimens placed on the stage. It includes an integral F focusing holder with an 84.5mm round diameter opening, mounted on a stable low-profile cast aluminum alloy base. Supplied with a 94.5mm clear glass stage plate (MA569) and two stainless steel stage clips (MA593), the PLS-3 stand is primarily designed for use with Zoom (EMZ series) stereo bodies but is also compatible with Turret (EMT series) and Fixed (EMF series) stereo bodies. The focus block can be easily raised vertically for special applications, making it ideal for labs needing a small footprint LED stand. An optional 5" extension pillar for the threaded vertical post is available (MA551) for taller specimens. The stand features a chemical-resistant finish, an auto-voltage sensing power supply (100V-240V), ESD safe construction, and stable rubber feet with a locking pin for head stability. Its compact footprint measures 330mm in length, 300mm in width, and 255mm in height, and it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
