The BAS-2 heavy duty dual arm industrial-type boom stand features a 20mm diameter drop down mounting post, designed to work seamlessly with EMZ (Zoom), EMT (Turret), and EMF (Fixed) series stereo microscopes utilizing the proper focus block. This stand allows for complete flexibility in smooth horizontal and vertical movement, supported by linear ball bearings that facilitate gliding across the work surface without binding. It is designed to accommodate scanning of large flat areas, such as printed circuit boards. Constructed in the U.S.A., the boom stand includes precision roller bearings in cast housings for zero friction motion and a sturdy metal base measuring 13 inches x 13 inches x 1.5 inches, weighing 80 lbs., equipped with heavy-duty rubber feet and ergonomic handles. The stand also features ball bearing support with dual horizontal arms, adjustable heights from 5.5 inches to 18 inches, a 25-inch vertical post, a safety clamp, and a 32mm straight mounting post specifically for use with the EM series.
