The new and improved 2015 digital differential counter utilizes modern technology and microprocessor-controlled electronics for accurate cell counts. It features 8 alternating red and white buttons with a comfortable, ergonomic design for positive and accurate finger positioning, as well as a 3-digit LCD display that shows each cell count. The buttons are labeled with cell names and pictures for Baso, Eosin, Myelo, Juven, Stab, Seg, Lymph, and Mono. A click sound confirms each count, while a short beep indicates reaching 100 cells. The Percent button allows for automatic percentage calculations, supporting a total cell count of up to 999. Errors can be easily corrected with the +/- button, enabling subtraction and continued counting. The device can be powered with the included power cord for laboratory use or by installing 2 AA batteries for fieldwork. The Function (Fun) button is available for adjusting contrast and monitoring battery energy. This digital differential counter is designed to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and comfort when counting cells in a laboratory setting.
