All edges of the tank are rounded for animal safety, and the one-piece construction eliminates the risk of cracking and splitting commonly found in plastic-welded, two-piece tanks. In case of a small leak due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a bullet hole, the tank can be repaired using braze welding with a common butane torch.
