Constructed from heavy gauge impact resistant 3004 aluminum, it has a double-thick bottom that ensures even heating and eliminates hot spots. The smooth surface facilitates easy cleaning, and both flat and domed covers are available for purchase separately. The pot has a 2 gauge - 1/4" (.63 cm) thick design and is specifically crafted for preparing stocks, soups, and liquids, with a tall and narrow shape that allows liquids to bubble up through the food, maximizing flavor extraction. The stock pot without faucets is NSF certified and includes a limited lifetime warranty, while the version with faucets is not NSF certified and does not come with a warranty from Jacob's Pride. The pot has a diameter of 12 inches and a capacity of 25 quarts.
