The scalloped edge knife set features a textured, slip-resistant, and easy-to-clean polypropylene handle that is designed to withstand both high and low temperatures. It includes an impervious blade-to-handle seal for superior sanitary performance. The knives are equipped with Dexter scalloped blades made from proprietary DEXSTEEL™ stain-free, high-carbon steel, which are individually ground to create specially designed scallops forming multiple sharp cutting edges. These scallops easily break through tough rinds and pierce the firm skin of fruits and vegetables while protecting the sharp cutting edges. Once the tough outer surface is penetrated, the curved scalloped edges excel at slicing through soft interiors without causing damage. The product is made in the USA and items marked with the NSF logo are NSF certified.
