The Cruiser X4 from Drive Medical is an ultra-lightweight manual wheelchair designed to provide mobility independence while being strong and durable, featuring an aluminum and carbon steel frame. This wheelchair allows for custom seat backs and accessories with its patented adjustable-depth seat, accommodating depths from 16" to 18". Users can conveniently adjust the rear wheels between three separate axles to achieve the ideal seat height or angle. Comfort adjustments include height-adjustable armrests, a height-adjustable back, and the ability to modify the height and angle of the front caster wheels. Additional features include flip-back armrests that are height adjustable from the top of the seat rail at 10" to 14", padded armrests for increased comfort, and flame-retardant nylon upholstery that resists mildew and bacteria. The Cruiser X4 also comes equipped with push-to-lock wheel locks for easy engagement, dual over-center cross links for added rigidity, and composite footplates with heel loops that are durable and lightweight. The wheelchair is finished with a powder-coated silver vein finish that is attractive, chip-resistant, and easy to maintain.
