The Gardner Spring 36293G compression spring features an outer diameter of 0.24 inches, a wire diameter of 0.022 inches, and a length of 0.75 inches, making it suitable for demanding applications where reliability is essential. This package includes five springs, crafted from high carbon steel music wire (ASTM A228) and Type 302 stainless steel, manufactured to rigid standards under strict tolerances. The music wire parts are zinc plated, while the stainless steel components are left plain. Designed for durability, the music wire springs can be cycled repeatedly and operate effectively at temperatures up to 250°F. In contrast, the Type 302 stainless steel springs (AISI 302, ASTM A313) offer enhanced corrosion resistance and can perform reliably at temperatures up to 500°F.
