The Gardner Spring 36437G compression spring features an outer diameter of 0.42 inches, a wire diameter of 0.038 inches, and a length of 2 inches, making it suitable for demanding applications where reliability is essential. This package includes 5 springs crafted from high carbon steel music wire (ASTM A228) that are zinc plated for enhanced durability, as well as Type 302 stainless steel springs (AISI 302, ASTM A313) which are plain and offer greater corrosion resistance. Both types are manufactured to rigid standards under strict tolerances, with closed and ground ends. The music wire parts can be cycled repeatedly and are capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F, while the Type 302 stainless steel springs maintain performance at temperatures up to 500°F.
