This package includes 5 springs manufactured from high carbon steel music wire (ASTM A228) and Type 302 stainless steel, produced to rigid standards under strict tolerances. The music wire components are zinc plated, while the stainless steel parts are plain, with ends that are closed and ground. The high carbon steel springs can be cycled repeatedly and operate effectively at temperatures of up to 250°F, while the Type 302 stainless steel springs offer enhanced corrosion resistance and can perform at temperatures up to 500°F.
