The latch and door edge guard is designed for a 1" L x 4-1/2" H, 1-3/4" thick door and is made of brass. This product reinforces and repairs the door edge while assisting in preventing forced entry. It is suitable for use on both interior and exterior wood or metal doors equipped with mortise or drive-in latches. The guard accommodates a lockset or deadbolt with any backset and includes essential components such as a door channel, two #10 x 1" combo screws, two #10-32 hex nuts, and four #8 x 5/8" Phillips truss head screws.
