The Fantech Energy Recovery Ventilator Fit 120E operates at 170 Watts and provides 106 CFM of airflow, making it well-suited for condos and apartments without mechanical rooms, as it can be installed over a basement or false ceiling. This low-profile ERV continuously supplies fresh air while exhausting an equal amount of contaminated air, and it features automatic defrost mechanisms that allow for year-round operation. The unit activates a preset frost control sequence at outdoor temperatures of 23°F (-5°F) and lower, where the supply fan shuts down and the exhaust fan operates at high speed to enhance the defrost process. The core, filters, motor, and electrical panel are easily accessible via an access panel, and the core can slide out with only 7" (176 mm) of clearance. Constructed from 24-gauge galvanized steel, the Fit 120E includes a 7-year limited warranty on the motor, a 5-year warranty on electrical components, and a lifetime limited warranty for the core. The core, which is the internal component of the ERV, is designed to transfer heat efficiently between the incoming and outgoing airstreams.
