The Wildeck® EdgeAlert™ kit for swing gate, model SG3060, is designed to enhance facility safety and mitigate potential OSHA violations associated with open gates at elevated mezzanine platforms. This kit continuously monitors gate status, signaling an open gate with flashing amber-colored LED lights and a highly audible alarm, which are strategically positioned on the front and back of the enclosure for high visibility at both elevated and ground levels. For convenience during daily operations, workers can temporarily silence the EdgeAlert™ system for 120 seconds by using the snooze/acknowledge button. After closing and securing an open gate, users can reset the EdgeAlert™ alarm by pressing the same button, or they can opt for the automatic reset mode. The gate operates on either AC or DC power, ensuring versatile functionality in various settings.
