The portable tank kit is designed to accommodate capacities ranging from 500 to 5,000 gallons, with custom sizes available to meet specific needs. It features robust steel or aluminum frames, with the steel frame constructed from 7/8" OD 14 gauge HREW P&O round tube, and an option for square tube. The aluminum frame is made from 1"x1"x.125" 6061-T6 aircraft quality square tube. The single folding frames facilitate easier handling and storage, while all materials utilized are chemical and fuel resistant, including potable NSF 61 approved substances. The kit incorporates exclusive Easy Lift Handles® on the floor of the liners (US Patent No. 8,746,478 & other patents pending) and includes a stainless steel quick release drain sleeve buckle. Materials for the tanks consist of XR-5, XR-5B, XR-3PW, various urethanes, PVCs, and PVC/urethane blends, and the liners are replaceable. Additional options include top covers and ground covers, and the setup is uncomplicated—simply unfold and use. It is particularly effective for oil spill clean-up, chemical or fuel storage, as well as potable or waste water storage, making it an ideal portable firefighting tank.
