Florence 1400 Series horizontal mailboxes are designed for use in larger multi-family apartment buildings, dormitories, and office high-rises. They are USPS STD-4B+ approved for replacement purposes for US Postal Service delivery or can be used in any commercial properties where centralized mailboxes are serviced through private mail distribution. This horizontal mailbox features 30 doors and 1 parcel locker, is front load, and fully recessed, measuring 7 doors high and 5 doors wide. One compartment is reserved for a USPS arrow lock. The construction is all aluminum with a clear anodized aluminum finish, allowing for front loading and full in-wall mounting and installation. Tenant mail retrieval and USPS delivery occur from the front of the mailbox, with an additional compartment reserved for master/postal access for delivery to the unit. Each tenant door includes a 5-pin cam lock with 2 keys each, and the system includes a parcel locker door, which facilitates USPS package delivery. The dual, captive locking system allows USPS to deliver a package to the locker while leaving the key in the tenant's mailbox. The package can be retrieved by the tenant, and the key is securely retained in the lock for reuse by the Postal Service for future deliveries. The mailbox also includes number slots with paper cards for identification, and each tenant door is equipped with a clear plastic window, metal backplate, and card for tenant number identification and labeling in the field.
