The Vertebrae Degeneration Natural Cast Model is designed to illustrate the stages of prolapsed disc through five progressively serious degrees of degenerative changes affecting the vertebrae and intervertebral discs of the lumbar spine. This model ranges from a healthy disc and vertebrae to very severe degeneration, showcasing bony constriction of the left intervertebral foramen and the resulting pressure on the spinal nerve root L5. The model measures 9 inches in length and comes mounted on a base for stability and display purposes.
