The General Pipe Cleaners electric floor model machine features a power feed, 100' x 3/4" cable, and a cutter set. Known as the Maxi-Rooter, this machine offers robust root cutting power and a high capacity in a portable design. It is powered by a heavy-duty 3/4 HP motor with a capacitor start and overload protection, driving a drum that can accommodate 125 ft. of 3/4" cable or 150 ft. of 5/8" cable. Constructed from tough aluminum alloy, it includes 10" ball-bearing semi-pneumatic wheels and v-belt stair climbers, making transport up and down stairs more manageable. A truck loading wheel mounted on the handle aids in lifting the machine into a truck, and the drum can be easily removed for two-part transport if desired. The machine’s power cable feed can drive the cable into the line and retract it, even on long or tough runs, allowing operators to adjust feeding speed without changing cable rotation, with a slow chew rate of one inch per minute and a retraction speed of up to twenty feet per minute. With a slim 23" profile, the Maxi-Rooter can fit through most doors, and a see-through inner drum cage provides visibility of the cable's quantity. For electrical safety, the air-actuated foot pedal eliminates electrical contact with the motor, and a ground fault circuit interrupter will shut down the machine if current leakage is detected, preventing potential electric shock.
