The General Pipe Cleaners sectional system includes ten 10' x 1-1/4" Proflex cables with a G connector, a cable feeding tool, and a cutter set. Designed for ease of use, this machine operates similarly to a lawn mower; the operator feeds an eight-foot (available separately) or ten-foot (included) cable section into the line until resistance is felt. After connecting the rear cable coupling to the machine and turning it on, the cable self-feeds into the line, and additional sections can be attached as needed. The Model 88 is capable of handling jobs up to 200 ft. long in lines with diameters ranging from 3" to 10". It is powered by a standard 3/4 HP capacitor motor and features an adjustable safety clutch to protect both the cables and the operator from sudden torque build-ups. The cable sections are available in two styles: the all-purpose Flexichain, which has a chain center, and the stiffer Proflex, which has a spring center and is included in this package. The inner spring of the Proflex provides additional stiffness for challenging jobs, while the right-hand wound outer spring enhances self-feeding speed. Sections easily snap together and can be disassembled quickly with a spanner wrench or screwdriver. The G connector design prevents tension on the locking pin during reverse operation, ensuring greater durability of the coupling.
