The General Wire 6' Teletube™ Flexicore Closet Auger (I-T6FL) is a heavy-duty tool designed for clearing stoppages located just beyond the toilet bowl without the need to lift the bowl. This auger features a unique design with three extra feet of cable telescoped into a guide tube, allowing users to extend the reach an additional three feet by simply pressing a button and pulling out the crank handle. The outer brass finish steel tube measures 1-1/8" in diameter, while the inner octagonal guide tube is constructed from a tougher material than the steel rods used in traditional three-foot closet augers. Weighing slightly more than other augers, the Teletube™ includes patented Flexicore® cable made from two layers of tempered spring wire tightly wrapped around a 49-strand wire rope center, which ensures resistance to kinking and breaking while maintaining the necessary flexibility for effective use in low flow toilets.
