The General Wire Power-Vee™ Basic Unit is equipped with a 25-foot by 1/4-inch down head power cable feed (model PV-F). This device is designed to handle cables ranging from 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch without requiring any adjustments. The feed lever allows for easy operation, engaging three offset rollers that automatically grip the cable and drive it into the line, making it particularly useful in confined spaces. The Power-Vee™ can feed 3/8-inch cable at a rate of 16 feet per minute. Its Dyna-Thrust™ bearing system reduces wear on the motor shaft bearing, thereby extending the tool's lifespan. The drum is constructed from heavy-gauge stamped aluminum to enhance durability. The unit also features quick-change cable cartridges and tough left-wound Flexicore® cables, which include an integral wire rope center for added strength and reliability.
