Cobalt drills are engineered to effectively cut through extremely hard metals, including stainless steel. The set includes drill bits ranging from 1/16" to 3/8" in 32nds increments, crafted from M35 steel with a 5% cobalt composition. These drill bits feature Century's 135-degree quick-cut points that are self-centering, allowing for faster penetration with reduced pressure, eliminating the need for a center punch. The design prevents the bits from "walking" or "wandering" on the starting surface. These cobalt drills are highly heat resistant and should be operated in power units with a minimum RPM speed of 1,500 for optimal performance. The product is proudly made in the U.S.A.
