The General Wire 3" Float Model Flood Guard - 3F operates like a check valve to effectively seal off water back-up caused by overloaded sewers. Water flows normally through the drain until a sewer back-up occurs, at which point the Flood-Guard float rises to seal off the drain opening until the water recedes. Installation requires only a screwdriver and a couple of minutes. Once installed, it provides protection against property damage and messy clean-ups. The device features gaskets made of molded rubber, and all metal components are either plated or constructed from stainless steel. This ensures durability and long-lasting performance.
