Black oxide drill bits are manufactured from industrial high-speed steel and are surface treated for high performance and long life. The kit is designed to drill through common materials such as steel (flat bar, angle iron, tubing), wood, and plastic without the need for a center punch. Equipped with Century Quick Cut points, these bits are self-centering, allowing for faster penetration with less pressure and will not walk or wander at the starting surface.
