The H-B® B61800-0200 Durac® 1.050/1.220 specific gravity shatterproof plastic hydrometer is sold in a single pack and constructed from optical quality polycarbonate material, ensuring durability and shatterproof performance, making it suitable for applications in the food and beverage industries where rough handling or contamination might occur. This hydrometer is designed to measure specific gravity and relative density (g/cm³) of various liquids, with a range from 1.0 to 1.620. It features an easy-to-read black scale on a yellow background to minimize eye fatigue, and its dimensions are 300mm (12") in length. Each unit is equipped with lead-free ballast, is individually serialized, and maintains a temperature standardization at 60°F (15°C). The Durac® polycarbonate hydrometers are manufactured and hand inspected by a U.S. quality team in an exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and A2LA accredited calibration laboratory, which is internationally recognized by the signatory economies of the ILAC/MRA, located in a facility registered under ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system. They come with a multi-language statement of accuracy for accuracy traceable to NIST. Note that these polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that could damage the plastic. They should be stored in a clean, dry place and protected from extreme temperatures.
