The H-B B61800-0600 Durac 10/100% salt brine hydrometer is a shatterproof plastic measuring device designed for various industries including food, fishing, and transportation, featuring a measurement range for sodium chloride saturation from 0% to 100%. Made from optical quality polycarbonate material, this durable hydrometer is 300mm (12") long and contains lead-free ballast. It boasts an easy-to-read black scale on a yellow background to minimize eye fatigue and is individually serialized with a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C). Each unit is made and hand inspected in the USA by a quality team at an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and A2LA accredited calibration laboratory, which is recognized internationally by the ILAC/MRA. The product is packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy, traceable to NIST, and is made in the USA. Note that the polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or corrosives and should be stored in a clean, dry, safe environment, away from extreme temperatures.
