The new JET JDP-15B is a 15" benchtop drill press designed for performance, featuring a full 3-1/8" spindle travel achieved with one revolution of the handle. It boasts a large 12-1/2" x 17" precision ground work table equipped with twin T-slot grooves and four table slots to accommodate various projects. The drill press incorporates a one-handed belt tensioning system for rapid speed changes and a power switch with a safety key and a large, paddle-style off button. An integrated depth stop facilitates quick and easy repetitive drilling, while the XACTA-X laser system helps easily identify the drill center. Additionally, a built-in LED work light minimizes shadows, and the table edge lip is designed for easy clamping. The unit includes a replaceable MDF table insert and is supported by a large cast iron base that provides stability. The JDP-15B is powered by a 3/4HP, 1PH, 115V TEFC motor and utilizes a Poly-V belt drive system. It is CSA certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
