Eagle's 96 gallon self-closing paint and ink safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double-wall construction, featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. It includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with threaded fittings, fire baffles, and caps. The cabinet has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish with red trilingual warning labels, a grounding attachment, and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. The doors feature continuous piano hinges, a flush-mounted door handle with key lock, and a self-closing mechanism with a 135° opening and concealed self-close that provides obstruction-free access and ensures a tight closure with self-indexing doors that close in sequence. It sits on four adjustable galvanized leveling legs and has a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill. The interior contains patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves supported by four brackets on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, capable of supporting a 350 lbs (159 kg) uniformly distributed load, designed to direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump. The cabinet features internal and external welded construction, measures 30.75"W x 30.34"D x 60.5"H internally, is FM-approved, and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements.
