Belt-drive upblast ventilators are designed for roof-mounted exhaust in commercial and industrial buildings, suitable for both roof and wall applications (except models 5BDU30 and 5BDU36). These ventilators feature durable spun aluminum construction with steel support braces, and a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel. The motor and wheel can be easily detached without requiring the removal of the ventilator from the curb. They come with permanently lubricated ball bearings (models 5BDU10 - 5BDU13) and regreasable pillow block bearings (models 5BDU15 - 5BDU24). All ventilators are listed UL 705 for electrical safety and UL 762 for restaurant exhaust in the USA. Models 5DBU10 - 5BDU24 are specifically suitable for wall applications, with the capability to handle inlet temperatures up to 300°F. They are designed with a fully welded windband and an externally cooled motor compartment, ensuring durability and efficiency. Additionally, these units are AMCA and CULUS certified, affirming their compliance with industry standards.
