Belt-drive upblast ventilators are specifically engineered for the roof-mounted exhaust of commercial and industrial buildings, with models suitable for both roof and wall applications, except for the 5BDU30 and 5BDU36 variants. Constructed from durable spun aluminum featuring steel support braces, these ventilators include a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel. Both the motor and fan wheel can be easily detached without the need to remove the ventilator from the curb. The design incorporates permanently lubricated ball bearings for models 5BDU10 - 5BDU13, while models 5BDU15 - 5BDU24 utilize regreasable pillow block bearings. Each unit is listed UL 705 for electrical safety and UL 762 for restaurant exhaust applications within the USA. The models 5DBU10 - 5BDU24 are compliant for wall installation, handle inlet temperatures up to 300°F, feature a fully welded windband, and possess an externally cooled motor compartment. Additionally, these ventilators are certified by AMCA and CULUS, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards.
