Belt-drive upblast ventilators are engineered for roof-mounted exhaust in commercial and industrial buildings, with models available for both roof and wall applications (except 5BDU30 and 5BDU36). The ventilators feature durable spun aluminum construction supported by steel braces, along with a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel. The motor and wheel can be easily detached without removing the ventilator from the curb. The models 5BDU10 - 5BDU13 use permanently lubricated ball bearings, while models 5BDU15 - 5BDU24 are equipped with regreasable pillow block bearings. All ventilators are listed UL 705 for electrical and UL 762 for restaurant exhaust in the USA. Models 5DBU10 - 5BDU24 are suitable for wall applications and can handle inlet temperatures up to 300°F. Additional features include a fully welded windband, an externally cooled motor compartment, and certification from AMCA and CULUS.
