Roof mounted belt drive downblast ventilators are specifically designed to efficiently exhaust air from commercial and industrial buildings, exclusively for roof mounting applications. This kit includes models that feature a motor and wheel that can be easily detached without the need to remove the ventilator from the curb. It utilizes permanently lubricated ball bearings for models 5BDD10 to 5BDD13 and regreasable pillow block bearings for models 5BDD15 to 5BDD24. All ventilators are UL 705 standard listed, ensuring safety and compliance. They are constructed from durable spun aluminum with steel support braces to provide strength and longevity. The unit can handle inlet temperatures of up to 170°F and incorporates a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel for efficient airflow. Additionally, each ventilator is equipped with a built-in bird screen to protect the discharge and features an externally cooled motor compartment for improved performance and safety.
