Belt-drive upblast ventilators are designed for roof-mounted exhaust in commercial and industrial buildings, with certain models suitable for wall applications (except 5BDU30 and 5BDU36). These ventilators feature durable spun aluminum construction with steel support braces, a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel, and motors that are easily detachable without removing the ventilator from the curb. The bearings vary between models, with permanently lubricated ball bearings for models 5BDU10 - 5BDU13 and regreasable pillow block bearings for models 5BDU15 - 5BDU24. All ventilators are listed UL 705 for electrical and UL 762 for restaurant exhaust in the USA only, can handle inlet temperatures up to 300°F, and come with a fully welded windband and an externally cooled motor compartment. Additionally, the units are AMCA and CULUS certified, ensuring compliance with key industry standards.
