Belt-drive upblast ventilators are engineered for roof-mounted exhaust in commercial and industrial buildings, with models available for both roof and wall applications (excluding 5BDU30 and 5BDU36). Constructed from durable spun aluminum with steel support braces, these ventilators feature a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel. The motor and wheel can be easily detached without the need to remove the ventilator from the curb. The models 5BDU10 - 5BDU13 utilize permanently lubricated ball bearings, while models 5BDU15 - 5BDU24 are equipped with regreasable pillow block bearings. Key features include listings for UL 705 for electrical safety and UL 762 for restaurant exhaust in the USA, along with suitability for wall applications for models 5DBU10 - 5BDU24. These ventilators can withstand inlet temperatures of up to 300°F and are designed with a fully welded windband and an externally cooled motor compartment.
