Eagle's 16 gallon manual close tower space saver flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double-wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. It includes four adjustable 4 in (10.2 cm) legs for easy cleaning underneath and movement with a forklift or pallet jack. The cabinet has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish with red trilingual warning labels, continuous piano hinges, a grounding attachment, and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system with a flush-mounted door handle and key lock. The 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill ensures containment, while patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves, supported by four brackets on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, hold a safe allowable load of 350 lbs (159 kg) uniformly distributed load and direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump. The cabinet has two 2 in (5.1 cm) vents with threaded fittings, fire baffles, and caps, with internal and external welded construction. Doors self-latch and open manually with 180 degrees opening. Internal dimensions are 20 in wide by 14.56 in deep by 39.5 in high. This FM-approved cabinet meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Some state and municipalities may require self-closing doors on flammable safety cabinets; this unit has manual closing doors.
