Eagle's 30 gallon, self-closing, tower flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes four adjustable 4 in (10.2 cm) legs for easy cleaning underneath and mobility with a forklift or pallet jack. It has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish with red trilingual warning labels, continuous piano hinges, a ground connection, a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill, and a patented adjustable galvanized steel shelf system that directs spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump, supporting up to 350 lbs (159 kg) uniform distributed load (UDL). The internal and external construction is welded, and it features two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with fire baffles and caps, a flush-mounted door handle with a key lock, a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system, shelves adjustable on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers supported by four brackets, and self-latching doors that self-close from a 135° opening with a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf. The self-indexing doors ensure they close in sequence to provide a tight closure from top to bottom. The cabinet’s internal dimensions are 39.5" W x 14.562" D x 39.5" H. It is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements.
