The J.W. Winco 62-AN-39 U-shaped magnet features a thickness of .98 inches and is constructed from steel. The GN 62 magnets are designed with a split magnetic surface and are non-shielded magnetic systems produced through a casting process. To maintain optimal magnetic performance, it is essential that the mounting screws are made from non-magnetic material. For enhanced handling and to prevent demagnetization, this magnet includes an iron plate on its magnetic surface. The Type AN magnet is temperature resistant up to 535 °F (280 °C), while the red lacquered finish is temperature resistant up to 355 °F (180 °C).
