GN 55.2 solid disk-shaped raw magnets are unshielded disc-shaped (annular) magnets designed for versatile applications due to their wide range of materials and sizes. These magnets are typically attached using glue, and while they have lower adhesive forces compared to magnet assemblies when used without an air gap, they can exhibit significantly higher adhesive forces depending on the gap between the magnet and the mating component. In cases where suitable retaining magnets or assemblies are not available, these raw magnets can be combined with appropriate holding constructions to create custom magnet assemblies. They are temperature resistant up to 175 °F (80 °C).
