GN 55.2 solid disk-shaped raw magnets are unshielded disc-shaped (annular) magnets designed for a vast range of applications due to their various materials and sizes. These magnets are typically attached by gluing and exhibit lower adhesive forces when used individually without an air gap compared to magnet assemblies, where shielding and magnetic return enhance the adhesion force. Depending on the air gap between the magnet and the mating component, individual raw magnets can achieve significantly higher adhesive forces. In cases where suitable retaining magnets or magnet assemblies are not available, raw magnets can be combined with appropriate holding constructions to create specific magnet assemblies. These magnets are temperature resistant up to 175 °F (80 °C).
